Lynn Shelton was always so inspiring to me. She was gentle and kind and so creative; an actor’s dream to work with. I was always excited when she was going to direct an episode of New Girl, not just because she was a delightful person but because she was a badass director and everything she did was authentic and fascinating and funny. She is gone way too soon. I wish I could write her an email to tell her one last time how great she was but I can’t so I’ll tell all of you. I’m so incredibly sad the world has lost a wonderful soul and a great director.
