I couldn’t help but marvel at the history, savoring each detail, asking what was behind every locked door. I even went up on the roof, behind the glamorous facades to get glimpses of the original circa 1869 structure. (see photo 2)⁣ ⁣ A highlight was going into this dilapidated backstage area, where, once upon a time, they’d hoist the #showgirls to the stage through trap doors on these glitzy showponies. ⁣Seeing all the ways they’d bring the showgirls onto the stage, including through the ceiling, made my heart race! It would never be allowed now. ⁣ ⁣ Tonight was meant to be the opening night of #Glamonatrix at #FoliesBergere ,and while I’m feeling sentimental for all the joys that showbiz brings us, I am also grateful that we have new dates to look forward to February 2021. ⁣ Sending lots of love and best wishes to all of you in Paris, and beyond. ✨💋✨⁣ ⁣ The new dates up are at teese.us/shows ⁣ ⁣We are still working on scheduling a few of the new shows, even adding some cities, so thank you for your patience.
