Not all heroes need capes. They wear and need face masks, personal protective equipment (PPEs), glasses and high dosis of hard work, compassion, commitment and an uncompromising love for their profession and their community. Our front line workers need now, more than ever, our recognition. Moreover, we also need to make sure we keep supporting them even after this crisis is over. I’m so proud of this @hearst initiative that has profiled our everyday heroes treating patients, cleaning rooms, and comforting families at the height of the COVID-19 outbreak in New York City. #NationalNursesDay @ELLE Magazine
