It was just something new we wanted to add to our menu for Mother’s Day weekend, with our tiny team of 4 employees here in Soho. Little did I know that a pastry could give us the opportunity to meet so many amazing people from all over the world, people who waited in the early morning hours to try something that we put our heart and souls into day in and day out. We’ve helped couples to get engaged in our line, we’ve celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, and wedding days with so many guests, raised money for charities to fight against hunger, and these days, we’ve been fortunate enough to stay open during this trying time to feed our community and give back to our healthcare heroes. For us, baking is a way to connect with people, and now more than ever, I’m proud and humbled by what we’ve achieved over the years.
