so many of our local food banks all over the world are at capacity, struggling to feed everyone in need right now. many food banks also have so many hoops to jump through to gain access which means a lot of people who need the help the most will struggle to get it. I’ve started asking my local shops for permission to just set up little boxes where people can help themselves if they need it. I start by doing the first shop in hope that people pay it forward by donating if they can. sometimes it takes a little convincing but all the shop owners I’ve asked so far have said yes so if you’ve been wondering about ideas of things you can do to help right now, give it a try and see ❤️
