ナオミ・シマダさんのインスタグラム写真 - (ナオミ・シマダInstagram)「over the last few weeks I’ve been noticing more dandelion growth than I feel like I’ve ever seen in my life!!! these little sunny dandy’s get forsaken for weeds but are so rich in medicine and symbolism and their ability to thrive under the harshest of conditions can teach us so much about persistence and survival. dandelions can burst through the cracks of walls and sidewalks, a triumphantly defiant bit of green standing so strong. the deep taproots remind us to ground ourselves deep into the earth, so we can stand strong no matter how life’s winds blow. we can take so much from the opening and closing of the flower, and its transformation into an adorable lil puff of seed, it teaches us about ourselves as we first show ourselves off, then quietly retreat, then return in a different form. the seeds journey helps us understand there are times we have to blow away and become something new. I once went to see an indigenous plant healer from the Amazon speak and he shared with us that the plants that grow around us, grow there because they’re the plants we need the most. feeling grateful to the dandelions for reminding me of our ability to not only survive and rise above what life throws at us but how we can adapt and play a part in shaping what that future looks like. thank you lil sun beam dandelions for brightening up my day and for reminding me that we are actually so very resilient and strong 🌼 XXX love」4月24日 0時35分
