It’s the day I get to leave my house and venture forth towards my front gate with my trash and recycling😝🙌🏾 After sitting in shorts and sweats for the last few weeks, I felt my other clothes were getting jealous and dusty so decided to make these days special #classtrashday Joking aside it felt nice to dress up and feel smart, dapper and clean. I’m training from home and maintaining my physical fitness, but don’t forget your mental aspect. Doing the same thing day after day can drain you so try things to keep your brain and mind active. I cut my own hair and decided I now wear suits to take the trash out. It amuses me. I paint, train, am learning a little Spanish, i chat to family and friends and have started making silly movies for fun to make me and hopefully some you smile. Look after yourselves and look out for each other. It’s tough being confined and people react differently in different ways. I feel very blessed to have food, electricity, family, activities, the ability to self isolate. But others may not, Some people may even be in danger,physically or mentally so be aware of those around you. If this situation has taught us one thing it’s that we need to appreciate each other and look out for each other more. We will get through this together and hopefully come out the other side with the urgency to experience life, not just exhist. To want to meet people, actually see in person our friends and family, travel, walk, sit in a park, get a hair cut, go to the store, my favorite- give whittle hugs again❤️🙌🏾 but make sure you are looking after yourself, you can do this, we can do this. Every morning when you wake, think of a fun happy memory, before bed, something you can’t wait to experience when this is over.
