I always strive to be better than I was yesterday, be that physically, mentally, emotionally, professionally, in every aspect of my life. I am not in competition with anyone else, I am not looking side ways at others ‘like’ me for I am unique and an individual, my only competition is with myself, to be better each day. I don’t answer to trolls, negativity, people who don’t know me, have never met me who have opinions about me, my voice, my appearance,profession, friends or family, what others think of us are none of our business. I focus on my self and those closest to me, that’s a hard enough circle to maintain without carrying the weight of expectation and belonging the world and social media seems fit to place on all our shoulders. I am loving life and and so grateful for the life I lead. My family, friends, my fans around the world that have sent me messages or appreciate my work or personality, you give me strength every day and make me want to be better x thank you for that. I love my job, Neil Gaiman, Bryan and Michael, Craig,Stephanie, my wonderful cast and crew,casting dept over the years past and present. Chic Eglee ( an incredible man who has had this POC’s back as #1 & the ethnic lead of this show, actually SHOWN me support, a human I actually HAVE met, spoke to and work with unlike the vocal ) his wonderful writing room and production team that has established the most diverse cast we have had in 3 seasons creating powerful ,entertaining stories we can’t wait to show in the new year and season 4 I’m proud of who I am, who I have become,represent and will continue to live and love my life to the fullest.
