I was filming #RedDragon at the time @unistudios for @universalpictures When I told #RalphFiennes and #EmilyWatson not to be nervous that #MichaelJackson would be watching from the tent when they did their scene. As Michael watched they threw his name into the dialogue and he loved it! In another scene Michael was freaking out when RALPH was holding the shotgun to Emily’s face and said “I have to shoot you”, Michael started screaming “Please don’t shoot her, Nooooo, please don’t hurt her” I had to remind him that it was only a film and not real. Michael had a real purity and innocence to him and was a true fan of cinema and the best movie-goer ever, especially for a scary movie! He would cover his eyes and scream as loud as he can when something scary was happening on the screen! No one better to watch a film with! My only regret is not watching one of my films with him at a Magic JOHNSON theater! When my #Producer #DinoDelaurentiis came to the set to see me Michael was there and when Michael saw him he shook his hand and said in his high voice, “Mr. Delaurentiis I’m your biggest fan, I think i watched all 300 of your movies! I love your Fellini films, I love your film The Bible, and I especially love King Kong!” Dino thanks him and takes me out of the tent to have a word and said in his strong Italian accent, “Who was that?” I said “Michael JACKSON!” And he said “I thought it was a Michael JACKSON impersonator?” I wish I had a photo of the two of them together!
