Proud friend moment. Today is the official release of my sweet friend @ruthielindsey’s first book!

Ruthie is the kindest, most generous, caring, joyful and thoughtful person you’ll ever meet. And she’s one of the people that’ve helped shape my life the most. If you know Ruthie, you know what I mean. This girl is the real deal. I feel so incredibly lucky to have this amazing woman in my life.

After a series of the most unimaginable life events, Ruthie spent 7 years living in her bed with chronic pain. She knows a few things about self-isolation, and we have so much to learn from her beautiful journey. Especially now, as we’re all #TogetherAtHome.

I often think of Ruthie’s resilience and resolve to embrace life and not let her pain define her. I admire her deeply and have learned so much about love and life from her. We all need a little more Ruthie in our lives, and now we can. This book is a deep look into her journey through life, love, loss, healing and rediscovering what it means to live. Truly live!

I’m grateful for these pages of wisdom that remind us to open our hearts and our eyes to take in and experience all of the beautiful gifts life has for us. That no matter how hard things get, you are never alone, your story is important, pain is real but it doesn’t have to define you.
