We talked with Alan about his debut film, Tigertail - a drama loosely based on his own family’s story about a Taiwanese immigrant’s journey from Taiwan to America. Over the course of the episode, we discuss what it’s been like promoting the movie in quarantine, the creative process, getting permission from his family to make the movie, their reactions to seeing it, and some fan questions.
