140 years ago, Yellowstone became America's first national park. It is home to a large variety of wildlife including grizzly bears, wolves, bison, and elk. Preserved within Yellowstone are Old Faithful and a collection of the world's most extraordinary geysers and hot springs. This picture of Old Faithful was taken by Ansel Adams during his series of photos of National Parks and Monuments taken between 1933-1942.
