I think non stop about those working everyday to take care of us all, to provide for us, to protect us. About the sick and the lonely. I wish i could do something more to help. My heart hurts for the lives lost and the families torn apart. I feel disappointed for the kids who can’t go to school to learn and laugh and be young, as they sit in front of computers and wait their turn to talk. The teachers. The athletes. The small business owners who don’t know their future. Anyone who’s life has been put on hold. These weeks we won’t be able to get back. But there are immense gifts that some of us are able to extract from all this madness... reconnections and a slowed reality. But sadly not for all. I find myself stealing away for a hot bath nearly every day. A new ritual that somehow makes me feel better. I wish it could wash it all away, if even for a few minutes. A few minutes of peace. I’d love to hear how you’re doing. How you’re really doing? What you’re doing to take care of yourself? But most importantly i want you to know that you’re all in my thoughts.
