I wrote this about a month ago after I had a really rough week. I put my guitar in my passenger seat and drove about an hour into the mountains to my favorite sunset spot. No cars or people or houses as far as I could see. I sat up on the cliff for a few hours and played some music for the birdies, watched the sunset, watched the moon rise, then went home and wrote this song.
