@dineoneone is a LA non profit organizing meal delivery to the heroes who keep our hospitals running during this pandemic. We delivered 100 fresh healthy meals yesterday prepared by @damichelehollywood to @childrensla hospital. If you are in a position to donate (tax deductible!) help us keep this organization going — @dineoneone or Dine11.org. Hospital staff are working around the clock and often skipping meals. @dineoneone is keeping the staff of ERs and ICUs well fed and also keeping small restaurant businesses open and able to pay their staff. I think person to person organizations like this and mutual aid funds are very powerful right now. Perhaps the silver lining from this challenging time is that we emerge with a stronger understanding of our own power to organize in our communities to help our neighbors.
