Upon moving to Ohio to help her father rejuvenate the Cleveland Browns football team (which he had purchased just a few years prior), Whitney Haslam Johnson commissioned @suzannekasler to tackle a top-to-bottom refresh of her new 1920s brick house, perfect for her young family. The home—nine bays wide, with seven bedrooms and nine baths—on two acres in Shaker Heights, was the perfect project for Kasler, whose work is best marked by its comfortable, unusual blend of styles, colors, and periods.
In the living room, the sofa and chair are from the designer’s line for @hickorychair, and the cocktail table is from Profiles. The side table is by @markdsikes, the lamp is by @vaughandesigns, and the antique barometer is French; the curtains are of a J. Robert Scott fabric, and the photograph is by @david_burdeny.
