Shoji is an up-and-coming chef who became the first Japanese woman to be ranked in Opinion About Dining (OAD)’s list, one of the global restaurant ranking. Her transcendental artistry and genius are immediately evident to anyone who experiences her pastries and dishes. The fact that she has been a fan of my work is an unbelievable miracle that has led to the dream collaboration project, “This Is My Dream Come True,” in which my flowers and her cakes and chocolates come together.  The following is Chef Shoji’s description of the collaboration: ●Fleurs d’été (mango)’s mango roses accompanied by Murakami’s flower rendered in Amezaiku (a candy craft technique), in bright rainbow color: it will be a monumental gem. ●The other item is a box of chocolate with an aroma of nuts, my absolute favorite. When you open the package with its silver logo, jewelry-like chocolates with the flower motif will jump into your vision.  The items are each produced in limited numbers only. The mango cake, especially, will be sold only through reservation and is bound to be sold out in mere seconds. Please don’t ask us what you might do if you can’t get your hands on them—the only way to appreciate the art of food is to experience it and there is no way to replicate it.
