I’m excited to announce that my short film “Hunting the Helmeted Hornbill” is an official selection at the NYWild Film Festival (@nywildfilmfest), and will be showing this Saturday Feb 29 at the Explorer’s Club in NYC. Helmeted Hornbills are a critically endangered species, and are threatened by the illegal trade in their horn-like head ornaments that are carved for pointless decorations. Here is a little glimpse of a male delivering figs to a female in the nest cavity, where she must spend up to five months raising a single chick.
