There is no wildlife relief effort with these Australian bushfires. Wildlife has gotten zero legislative support as they would rather cull them. Yes there are wildlife organisations doing some amazing work, but zero government support because based on what I know and have seen, I believe the government would rather cull wildlife for meat and protective purposes because of their interests. ⁣

With the Bushfires, the Fire Services are being funded, but a large part has been voluntarily in rural areas to protect houses. The loggers are being funded to cut and clear fallen trees on the roads. But wildlife support? Nothing. There has been no governmental support, in fact they cut National Parks budget by two thirds last year. ⁣

A lot of rural Australians think Kangaroos, Wallabies and Wombats are a pest. Rather them dead then eating their crops and farmland.⁣

The reason the animals are on farmland is because of deforestation. The highly funded logging industry makes animals lose their habitat. The animals move in search of food, and you know where they end up? On farmland. Making them seem like pests. The cycle of culling continues. ⁣
