One of the best ways to release that anger is through an accomplishment.⁣ ⁣ Go and achieve one new environmental change you’ve always wanted to see where you live. Be it a plastic clean up, raising awareness of a hazard in your community, volunteer at an animal shelter, organising your friends to act on an idea to make your community smile. If nobody has taken the time to do what you always thought needed a change, then you’re the best person for that task. Go and do it! ⁣ ⁣ For those in Australia your mission is to save the surviving wildlife. ⁣ ⁣ ☑️ LEAVE WATER OUT for wildlife to drink. It is a time of extreme drought, and fire disaster, water troughs and bowls.⁣ ⁣ ☑️Make sure you are safe first! Your safety is always first⁣ ⁣ ☑️Take photos of the animal, and note the location, if you can, call a wildlife rescuer for advice, or assistance.⁣ ⁣ ☑️Animals such as kangaroos and wallabies suffer a condition called myopathy when stressed, and it can be fatal, so keep handling to a minimum, for smaller animals or joeys, you can use a pillow case, a towel, or shirt, in a ventilated cardboard box as a temporary pouch for rescue. Kangaroo joeys find comfort in warm, dark places.
