This magnificent elephant named Tim by @amboseli_trust , has left the Earth. So much sadness. But also gratitude in that it seems that he may have perished of natural causes . So many people worked so hard to protect him, and I am thankful for that- @biglifeafrica in particular. Thank you Tim for bringing such grace into our lives. This is a repost of the magnificent Tim filmed a year ago when he was coming into musth. This morning this great elephant icon, who touched so many hearts and minds, was found dead. It is a sad day for thousands of people and elephants who knew and loved this remarkable giant. Our thoughts go most to members of the @amboseli_trust who named, monitored and loved this individual for almost 50 years. He will be remembered forever. 🐘
