This image has nothing to do with it, but I took Ayame to her very first ballet class 🩰 You can imagine my excitement as I was a major ballet junkie growing up with grandiose dreams of becoming a ballerina. To be clear, this was a MAJOR deal for me. My heart definitely skipped a beat when her new ballet uniform arrived and I got her all dressed in pale pink. So when the class started, I had this idea that Ayame was going to love it and start pitter pattering on her tippy toes. Oh, how I was wrong! She basically clung onto me for the entire lesson sporadically weaping whenever things got too much for her. Even the ballet fairies who gave her glittery fairy dust weren't cutting it for her and the ballet teacher came and said she might be too young for the class still. I think her Mama got a bit too overly excited about starting her as soon as possible and lost sight of whether she would actually be ready for a proper ballet class yet 😭🤦🏻‍♀️🙈 I'm hoping we can try again maybe in the next term, but it was such a great lesson for me to take the Mama chill pill.」1月21日 0時22分
