Photo by @daisygilardini | Due to Scoresby Sund’s remote location off the eastern coast of Greenland, it’s still possible to see wild muskox grazing on the tundra.
Muskox, together with reindeer and bison, are among the few animal species that survived the last glacial era. Their name is derived from the strong, musky odor they give off during the mating season.
