So now we are in Kyoto, the most traditional and historical place in Japan. I picked Fushimi Inari as the second place to explore in Kyoto, especially with Magical Trip. Fushimi Inari is known for a thousand of red gates as you see it on this post. But, actually it is not just that. If you get in there deeper, you will see spiritual and sacred bamboo forests will welcome you. Even Japanese visitors do not know about this (Like I did not know before). Don’t be just a tourist. Let us show you the best way to explore Fushimi Inari to the deepest! (1) What is Fushimi Inari? Fushimi Inari Shrine is an important Shinto shrine in southern Kyoto. It is famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates. The trails lead into the wooded forest of the sacred Mount Inari, which stands at 233 meters and belongs to the shrine grounds. (2) Why do you need a local guide here? As I told you, I didn’t know about the trail until I met Magical Trip. While you are taking the trail, our guide will explain the history of Inari Taiha (Shrine). You may be able to learn this by reading or looking up on it on the internet.
