In Georgetown Colorado each winter, 900 horse power Jeeps with 2 inch spiked tires hit the lake for a season of circuit racing. These races are rowdy, high powered and open to the public to spectate. I directed, shot, sound designed and edited this short film in a 3 day window for @ナショナルジオグラフィック in 2013, a production I loved from beginning to end! It was an absolute blast hanging out with the various racing teams and their families who warmly let us into their lives. Huge thank you to racer Jimmy Olson aka @shoeboy44 for opening up this fun glimpse into a great subculture of racing.
