I tried in 2018 but was a little too late, the flowers were all wilting. Fun fact, young sunflowers track the sun through the sky during the day and return to face east at night, but when the flowers mature, they usually stop doing that and stay facing east.⁣ ⁣ This is a blend of two exposures for dynamic range and depth of field, to capture detail in the bright sky and the darker foreground. Both exposures were shot with a Nikon Z 7 and NIKKOR Z 14-30mm f/4 S lens @ 25mm, f/11, ISO 64.
