Dear Orville,
I wonder about the day you had this photo taken. The thoughts, musings and dreams in your heart. I wonder how it survived, your photo that is, and what kind of places and hands and stories it lived through before making its way into this journal, and now my hands. I wonder what lore and ventures we shall bemuse and create, and if this peculiar time machine meets time capsule will survive and make it to the lives of others. We shall see, I suppose.
