Photo by @michaelclarkphoto | While on a recent climbing expedition with Pasang Lhamu Sherpa Akita, the 2016 National Geographic People’s Choice Adventurer of the Year, I captured this image of Cholatse under a canopy of stars in the Khumbu Valley of Nepal. With clear, cold nights for most of our time in base camp, we had ample opportunities to capture the stars. For this image, I left the shutter open for a full hour to create the long star streaks. #cholatse #nepal #khumbu #himalaya
