I made many friends, but fell truly in love with one family in particular, Hodges and Joyce Sibeko. They live in Soweto (a town where Mandela lived for a while) where they operate a pre school out of their “garage”. Joyce exudes love and joy and the kids were so happy to be there. Joyce and Hodges spent his hard earned money on food, clothes, shoes, toys and supplies on the kids...you see, they didn’t charge the parents anything, they just wanted to help. Since that day, I have been sending what I can to help this wonderful family and the kids they support. They have named me “Vuyo” which means love ❤️ and I am so proud to call them family.
