At first I corrected him and said “you mean a bobcat” And he chuckled and said “no a fucking mountain Lion!!” I jumped out of bed as quick as I could and grabbed my cannon 7D and drove as fast as I could to his house to get some photos. When I got there and saw it in person words cannot describe the feelings that I had. This mountain lion in particular had no GPS collar (nor did we intend to call animal control and have him or her tranquilized and one strapped to its neck) and had to weigh at least 200 pounds. We spent the day taking photos and observing one of the most beautiful animals I have ever seen in my life and when the sun went down we brought the dogs and everybody inside and within five minutes of it being dark we shined a flashlight in the tree and it was gone never to be seen again. So sad to think I will probably never be able to experience a moment like this in the place that I call home and cherish so much. I would hope to think that this beautiful animal is still alive but with population growing, the devastating fires and less and less places for these animals to live and thrive that is probably not the case. ☹️ I hope we meet again someday old friend ❤️」11月22日 5時39分 - brodyjenner
