This is the second time I’ve cracked this one just trying to fit inside and it’s wider than most. We’re ultimately going to have to get custom sized kayaks made for the k1 ( one man)and k2 ( two man) races which is a very expensive undertaking. We’ve set up a go-fund-me page to help with some of these costs as a lot of people have asked how they can help us and be part of this Olympic qualification journey. I’ve added the link on my profile. What we will do now is find a way to temporarily patch up this crack using fibreglass. Not a pretty fix but we always find ways to work with what we have.
