Last Sunday I gave a private concert at Sir Georg Solti's Studio on his precious Steinway Piano (which used to belong to A.B.Michelangeli), what a privilege! I was also happy to see some musician friends and to visit the National Gallery this time. 1. at Solti's studio with Lady Solti 2. at his desc, there was a marked-up score there! 3. The last piece of my programme was Schumann Fantasie, and I was going to play "Widmung" and "An die ferne Geliebte" (both transcribed by Liszt) as encores. Then I found astonishingly the very related items to these pieces (the immortal beloved, to which Beethoven wrote "An die ferne Geliebte", "Widmung"'s manuscript and Liszt hands!) exhibited next to the studio, what a beautiful coincidence! 4. the beautiful English garden 5. with friends!!
