We had a huge typhoon throughout Japan on Saturday which caused the flights & trains cancels, so the orchestra manager had to rebook the new tickets and hotel for Friday, but we could safely arrived there and perform. Thank you to all the members of the orchestra & organizer (UBE Industries, LTD), Mo.Umeda and of course the people who came to hear the concert! . . 1. on stage 2. with Mr.Masumitsu (Orchestra Production Manager, who took care so well of all the travel tickets and hotels of the musicians) 3. With Mr. Tanokura, the concert master 4. In front of the Watanabe O memorial hall 5. Sweets boxes named "Fukuman" found at the Yamaguchi airport 😃 . . 遅くなりましたが、台風19号の被害に遭われた方には、心よりお見舞い申し上げます。先週日曜日に山口で日本フィルハーモニーとベートーヴェン『皇帝』を弾かせていただきした。前日に現地入りする予定が台風の影響で飛行機がキャンセルされ、急遽金曜日の夜に関西まで移動し、翌朝山口に入りました。私だけでなく、マエストロやオケ団員皆様のチケットやホテルの手配で、大変なご苦労があったにもかかわらず、私のスーツケースを持ってくださったり細やかなケアをしてくださった企画制作部長の益満行裕さん（写真2）には、多大な感謝を申し上げます。今回の演奏会は、宇部興産が主催で、中学生や障がい者も招待して地元の方への文化的貢献が目的とされたものでした。演奏会前夜には宇部興産の重役の方達と会食し、色々なお話を伺いました。皆様への感謝を込めて、自分が中学生の時に出会い、ピアニストを目指すきっかけになったプーランクをアンコールに弾きました。 . . #Yamaguchi #Ube #UbeIndustries #JapanPhilharmonicOrchestra #Beethoven #ToshiakiUmeda #日本フィルハーモニー交響楽団　#山口　#宇部　#渡辺翁記念会館　#ベートーヴェン　#皇帝」10月17日 13時13分
