When my husband first caught me doing this years ago, this, meaning giving little 😽 to myself from time to time, I remember getting a glimpse of his incomprehension about that gesture and i took that incomprehension for judgment which then made me judge myself and feel all weird and awkward. So a few things about that. 1) We are always interpreting the looks, the words and the gestures or lack of them that people give us. And that interpretation only comes from what we are feeling or going trough at that specific time. And it wouldn’t be such a big deal if those interpretations lead to no consequences BUT AS WE KNOW, they do. THEY CAN STOP 🛑 us from living freely and truly our divine LIFE PURPOSE!! We can get caught up in all these expectation we think people have from us and we end up going trough life according to what WE THINK PEOPLE WANT FROM US OR THINK WE ARE ...!! at the end it’s all a big mind-fu** . 2) The 😘... After years of taking for granted my body and everything it allowed me to do every single day, one day I decided that I was going to love it. From love, We kiss and hug and rub and caresse other people’s bodies, our partners, our kids, our friends... right? WHY NOT HAVING THAT SAME TACTILE LOVE WITH OUR OWN BODY!!! It has nothing to do with ego or being too full of yourself... IT’S HEALING!!!!! if we don’t have that love and connection to our OWN BODIES then how can we expect to have healthy connections to other’s???? 😳😳 So yeah, I do it. Very often. I give myself hugs. 🥰I kiss and give little pats to my legs, my arms, and say thank you for everything they allow me to do... 😌my body, my best friend... my body allows my soul to be, to live in this word... AND YOURS TOO!!! No more auto-bullying!!!
