Personally, I found it to be a breeze. The prep was smooth and simple. The procedure itself was pain free (thanks to the wonder of sedatives!). And afterwards? I feel great! 🙌🏼 I have been documenting my experience on my stories and received messages from women who had actually cancelled their colonoscopies from fear of the procedure! This worries me so much as colonoscopies can help diagnose potentially life threatening diseases and conditions. So I hope that by sharing my experiences I can help show you guys that it isn’t anything to be afraid of. In fact it’s something which can provide you answers and relief 🥰 My colonoscopy today was to check out my cecum after it twisted (and almost killed me!) back in January. It was recommended by my colorectal surgeon here in the UK as a final check to finish my circle of care.
