The way painters mix flowers, objects, colors, sizes. The way light is used to create depth and composition. It has greatly influenced the way I use colors and compose images. I started doing these flower still lifes in different countries to explore how each country has their own look on flowers. This shoot was in London, with @florastarkey . We decided to try something different, and capture flowers at different stages of life, not just in full bloom. Tulips can age in such a beautiful way, that I thought it would be amazing to document this journey. More and more, I get excited by the passage of life, and not just by the freshness of it. Age can be a beautiful thing. - La naturaleza muerta es muy interesante porque es diferente de cualquier otro estilo. Puede contener tanta energía sin mostrar ninguna actividad. La forma en que los pintores mezclan flores, objetos, colores, tamaños; la manera en que se utiliza la luz para crear profundidad y composición han influido mucho en mi manera de mezclar colores y componer imágenes. Comencé a hacer estos bodegones en diferentes países para explorar sus formas de mirar y mostrar las flores. Esta sesión fue en Londres, con FloraStarkey. Decidimos probar algo diferente y capturar flores en diferentes etapas de su vida, no solo en plena floración.
