I’ve been following @davidkassan’s work for some time now, and had the honor of seeing his paintings in person at his “Facing Survival” exhibit, honoring the Holocaust survivors he has gotten to know over the years through his paintings. It goes without saying that @davidkassan’s paintings are beyond words, but to me, his work isn’t just a beautifully painted portrait. They are profound celebrations of these survivors lives.
If you are able to make it down to the Fisher Museum of Art at USC to see this exhibit in person, I strongly urge you to go. It has been the most inspiring experience, and can’t thank @davidkassan for dedicating himself to something so important and sharing it with us.
Lastly, do yourself a favor and give @davidkassan a follow - watching his process and storytelling with each and every person he paints gives me hope in humanity. 🖤
