Today, The Duke and Duchess of Rothesay carried out engagements in Dumfries and Galloway.
At the Bladnoch Distillery, The Duke toured the production area and Their Royal Highnesses tasted some whisky, before officially opening the new visitor centre.
The Duke and Duchess later attended the ‘Garlieston Secret War’ exhibition, which tells the story of the coastal town’s important role in D-Day preparations in 1944.
To end the day, The Duchess visited Moat Brae House and Gardens, which is thought to be the inspiration for J. M. Barrie’s ‘Peter Pan’. See our story for more.
