Rugged, majestic and accessible from the road, Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument in #Oregon is an excellent way to experience part of the #PacificCrestTrail. The monument is an ecological wonder, representing a rich mosaic of forests, grasslands, shrublands at the convergence of the three mountain ranges. As photographer Bob Wick explains: “This area is a botanist’s dream where the Cascade, Great Basin and Coast Range-Klamath ecosystems come together.
