The minute I landed, the messages started flooding in. Videos, photos and voicenotes of friends sharing the situation. The thousands of hectares of our beautiful forests being consumed by flames our firemen couldn’t handle. It broke me. Nature is the reason why I reshaped my entire lifestyle five years, and the fuel behind @waterthruskin. Instead of sitting still and waiting for someone else to act, I chose to do something about it. I chose to show the world that social media and our networks can be used for something good. Something greater.
