I know how important it is to “enjoy” the journey that leads us to our so called destination- what we think is the “end result.” I know this. And honestly, once we get where we think we want to be, we’ll want to achieve another goal and then another goal and then another...which I think is positive, but, let’s remember to enjoy the days that lead us there, because they turn into years way too quickly. Sometimes I get stuck in my head and forget to enjoy the little moments. Or I should say that I have to focus on enjoying the moments. I want to be better at not letting my mind wander. I get caught up in this and that. Logistics, timelines. Blah blah blah and I allow some of my joy to dissipate. •I am in charge of my joy. •I am in charge of my happiness along my journey. •I choose joy, dammit.
