Read on to have your mind blown! 🤯 • • Covenant House provide these Help Cards with all the information a person experiencing homelessness might need to take the first step out of their situation. We were given a bunch at the Sleep Out and encouraged to keep some on us to hand out to those in need. IT’S THAT SIMPLE. And it very well might change/save a life! So if you’re local and can get over to the New York or New Jersey Houses, I would encourage you to do so! Go grab a stack, keep some on you, distribute with discernment. I know it has an age range on the card but that applies to who can actually stay at the Shelter, anyone outside of that will still be warmly received and then safely referred. I initially couldn’t believe that help could be that readily available, that straightforward, that honest. But it’s true. Covenant House cares. 😭 Full stop.
