Today’s the day. Sleep Out. I’m feeling so many things. Nerves, excitement. I’m looking forward to meeting ‪the young people living at @covenant_house who may be experiencing homelessness, but for whom that is only a small part of who they are. They are mothers, photographers, computer programmers, music lovers, gamers, and students. In fact, more than 1,200 Covenant House youth were enrolled in college courses, high school and GED programs last year.‬ These young people may be ‘homeless’ but‪ they are not defined by that. ...Inspired - that’s what I’m feeling most.
