16 UPS employees told @NBC News they have suffered heat illnesses this summer, including convulsing, fainting, and heat-induced kidney failure. Ah yes, corporate America profits above any costs to workers!!! Let's have even more deregulation and greed across America. For more of the same! Meanwhile, the rich and corporations amass more to the 32 trillion dollars in 70 offshore banks!!! No wonder we can't have nice things in society!

Sounds like they need to better train their employees on how to stay hydrated and prevent heat illness. There are a LOT of jobs that don’t have air condition available. It isn’t just UPS. Do we need to start providing AC for landscapers, oil field workers, etc. too?

And they still work. Do a strike and close all warehouses and no one enter the cargo cars. 3 days out of work and you will get a whole new board to face with much more flexibility for the workers problems.

It's almost impossible to air condition UPS delivery trucks. The fuel bills would put them out of business. How about loosening the delivery timelines and times at each stop? 2 minutes per stop?
