Linda Findley’s husband, Robert, died after falling on the ice during a winter storm this year in Kansas. The nearest hospital had recently closed, and Robert had to be flown to a neurology center 90 miles north, but at least 3 air ambulance pilots turned down the call from local EMS workers before one accepted. Nationwide, more than 110 rural hospitals have closed since 2010, and in each instance a community struggles to survive in its own way. Read more at the link in our bio.

Since the ultra rich have been gifted by our representatives with practically no tax payments, there is not enough tax money that was formerly used to keep hospitals open. We are impacted in so many areas such as school aid, public transportation aid, infrastructure and a list as long as your leg. Oh yes, no money assist in water line replacement thus undrinkable water. Do you see the correlation? Undrivable roads, etc. how can we help? TERM LIMITS would be the FIRST action because when they don’t listen, they must FEEL. Did you ever think you would see our country in such a shape?

The richest nation on earth, they say. A class of rich citizens, about 1%, which own 85% of America's wealth, and corporations which benefit from Republican tax cuts. So much so that they have amassed 32 trillion dollars in 70 offshore banks. Folks, this is one reason the nation cannot have nice things like great hospitals nearer our homes and small cities. Or updated, modernized schools, infrastructure,,etc etc.

Hospitals are closing because the government never pays like that say they will, government ran healthcare is killing these hospitals they cant be profitable enough to stay open.

Yet these rural Republicans vote against their own interest. They rather believe lies and suffer than to vote for real change
