So many’s tentacles being organized to work together to raise awareness and give back to help addiction around the opioid epidemic including music,the touring musical, government ( local and national ) plus many partners I am proud to have on the team. zandersgirl Not that my opinion matters I do think something needs to be done about the opioid crisis however not at the expense of people who actually need them and don't tell me that nobody does even some cancer patients are having trouble getting them cuz doctors are too afraid and I speak from experience I was a chronic pain patient always legitimate prescriptions decided that one of my problems was better so I wean myself off of them nobody made me nobody asked me and I had no issues so it's not fair Little league people are in so much pain they are at higher risk of dying if you ask me because of people being so afraid to prescribe. There just has to be some balance not every person who takes him as an addict. And before when I was on the hardcore meds believe me I tried everything else before i got to long term pain meds

caroldoreensm I currently take hydro for chronic arthritis. Started when I had knee surg. The med is very effective. I'm going to have to have other knee done soon.a big problem is when the gov tries to dictate who can get it and who can't. They need to leave it up to throw Dr and the PT! I know about the epedimic, and yes it has to be governed but the way it is now, it causes problem for people who are trying to function and that's B.S.!

Rehab for 30 days inpatient typically cost around 20,000 and go up to 60K for severe addiction & outpatient rehab which is for moderate addictions costs around $5K to 10K for 3 months. It’s sad because I think this prevents many addicts from getting help. Free and affordable rehab programs are hard to find and usually have a list of people waiting.

hollywoodchik I lost my son to heroin one year ago. He was 26. Nikki thank you for all your works in helping bring awareness on this epidemic. I read your book The Heroin Diaries about 5 years ago and loved it. Wish i could have helped my son... 😢 its so important to know the facts. 💜💜💜💜💜💜
