This photo always reminds me why I fell in love with makeup in the first place. @alyssareeder is not a professional model but a creative with an extraordinary beautiful face. Her skin and eyes always sparkle. What I love about the makeup is it’s not trendy, gooey, weird but simple and classic. My artistry was not always in vogue when others were doing goth or 40’s overlining or heroine chic. But the only thing that felt authentic was beautiful and individual to me.
