We’re proud to collaborate with First Nations artist Siobhan Joseph on this stunning mural for @VanMuralFest 2019. The entire piece depicts a Coast Salish gesture of welcoming and gratitude. The animals, mountains, rivers and trees are meant to represent our connection to nature, while the women’s red dresses are meant to symbolize the hundreds of missing and murdered Indigenous women across Canada. Just a quick (free) pedicab ride away is our Ethics Lounge, where we’re partnering with Charity Pot Partner @WildLifeDefenceLeague to educate people on the logging industry-caused dwindling caribou numbers in British Columbia and the devastating consequences that it’s having on our eco systems.
