ozkaaar2 Good to know I didn't miss much, me being someone who grew up on the original film, this scene was supposed to be iconic, & really show Simba's eagerness & excitement to becoming King of the Pridelands, very expressive & colorful, but this.. nah, I get CGI .. But this was too real, & they could've put more human like emotion & expression in their face, it's just two real looking lion babies/kids with their mouths moving, sorry if that offends, but for ppl who feel where I'm coming from, it's truth. They could've just re-released the original in theaters. They did it some yrs back, all this was about money💵 & using big name folks to sell it & get more viewers.

__amylinn Timon’s voice was cringe. It sounded too sassy and the actor even wanted Timon to be lgbt. They say the original voice actor of Timon was gay but at least his voice wasnt milking the voice to that pitch. It had more emotion, comedy and still masculine. He didn’t care to push any agenda. And Scar’s voice was just a no no when it came to his singing😑 Simba, Zazu and Rafiki brought out the similar voices from the animation. It didnt sound like it was just a quick script. Popcorn read. They were pretty good 👍🏼

pxige_2k19x Seen a bit of it is no where near as good as the original ngl I mean they don’t even look like the characters out of the original they don’t have as much colour in this scene etc I prefer the original and not even seen the full movie to this one 🤦‍♀️

reina_illustrates Can I just put my two cents in as an animator? This movie is *not* live-action. Stop calling it that. It's CGI with life-like animal rigs. None of the movie is filmed IRL. Everything is created on a computer.

rosethenightfury I like it but in the same time it feels off. No hate on it it looks cool and i wanna watch it but i feel like the animated version has to give alot more imagination

vi_v_iv_ loved it! the movement of the animals is so intricate! the smallest gestures show so much feeling! an amazing rendition of the classic :)
