Congratulations on your richly-deserved Star, my friend. I was surprised you didn't already have one, but better late than never! #NationOfImmigrants 🇲🇽🇺🇸 #Repost @lamag with @make_repost

Thank you...for speaking up for my beloved hispanic community. At times I feel so powerless, when I see the open, racial attacks on Mexicans. But then I see people like you, using your well known voices, to condemn such acts, and it gives me the boost I so desperately need. We are living in dangerous times...so much so, that my family and I are now seeing it in the open faces of those that once hid it. Our political climate is such, that people are becoming emboldened to show their racist colors...and are not afraid of the repercussions. Ironically, my family and I are generations born in the US, but all these people see is the color of our skin...hence, criminals, druggies and rapists. Never stop using your voice @hamillhimself...and thank you again...for speaking up and being the voice for those in desperate need of being heard.

Immigrants just gotta come legally but rn the problem is our country is already full we have no more room, and also our county is full of people tht need help and are homeless that we can’t even help, how do people expect us to help others when we can’t even help ourselves, we gotta help build our economy back up and help the people here before we can help others cus if we just let them all in our economy will drop even more and the whole country will come crashing down economically and then we won’t be able to help anyone at all

My Aunt immigrated to this country in the 1950's from Chihuahua, Mexico. My Uncle Louis was 18 when they met. Aunt Mary was 16. He spoke no spanish and she, no english. But for over 40 yrs they were married and loved one another. Aunt Mary cared for Uncle Louis until he passed away at 59 in 2001, from Parkinson's Disease. All four of their children served honorably in the military. Three served in the Navy and one in the Army. We're all proud of Aunt Mary and the life she's led. She's one of us. Our family.

Who cares once he did it the legal way, not like the Dems just letting everyone through all the Drug smuhglers , sex traffickers, terrorists also using it, meanwhile all these people suffer and everyday americans not the way to go about this, and Dems do this for votes and they say Trump is bad and a racist, everyone no matter their colour is doing better under Trump, and these are all facts which are these for everyone to see.

Well deserved star for an incredibly talented artist. And people that were born here cannot understand that those of us who came here can love both the U.S. and our country of origin. One holds our past and the other one our present and future. Whoever finds anything wrong with this is just looking to argue and needs to make better use of their time.

@karen_lanns of course it makes a difference. I’m a professional already teaching these kids math and science—and explaining it to their Spanish-only parents. Try coming down to Santa Ana and doing the same. It might actually help you help these kids score better on say the GRE, the MCAT, the LSAT where they are still being left behind
